Put on muscle.Without planning a single meal.
Muscle needs the right food in the right amounts, every day. FuelTheGains plans your week of meals to hit your calorie and protein targets, then writes the grocery list. You cook and eat.

Your week
The food is already decided
Every morning your meals are already there. Breakfast, lunch, a shaker and dinner, each one with its photo, its calories and the protein it brings you. The portions are worked out for your weight, your training and your goal, so you are never guessing whether a plate is too much or not enough. If something does not appeal to you, swap it and the rest of the day adjusts around it so your totals still add up.

Grocery list
One list, sorted by aisle
Once your week is set, every ingredient from every meal is added up into a single shopping list. It is grouped the way a supermarket is, with the meat and fish together, the dairy together and the vegetables together, so you walk the aisles once instead of doubling back. Quantities come in the units you actually buy, nine eggs and one bell pepper rather than a weight you would have to work out at the shelf. Tick things off as they go in the trolley.

Your calories follow the scale
Weigh yourself once a week and the app takes it from there. If you are gaining faster than you should be, it brings your calories down a little. If the scale has not moved, it puts them up. That new target goes straight into the following week's meals, so the plan keeps matching the body you have now rather than the one you had on the day you signed up. You never recalculate anything yourself.

Matthieu
Founder of FuelTheGains
Hey 👋, I'm Matthieu, the creator of FuelTheGains.
I've been training since 2022. I loved the lifting part immediately, but the nutrition part bored me to death.
So I trained hard and ate whatever without any idea of my macros or my calories.
I gained about 6 kilos. In three and a half years.
That's not nothing, but with better nutrition I could have done more, faster.
I looked for apps, but I could only find calorie counters. They don't tell you what to eat, which doesn't remove the burden. They can only tell you if you ate the correct thing. AIs like ChatGPT aren't that great either. They give you terrible meal ideas.
I almost gave up and resigned myself to rice and chicken forever. 😐
Then I did the boring thing. I'm an engineer, so instead of looking for more discipline I wrote the math: your body needs a number, food has numbers, it's a solvable problem.
So I built the app I wish I'd had since the beginning.
- Enter your height, weight, and how often you train.
- Get a full week of meals that actually hit your surplus and your protein.
- The grocery list is already done, and you don't have to think about anything.
Eat like that consistently and you put on muscle. That's the whole mechanism.

Ask ChatGPT for a bulking plan and you get a plausible-looking one: portions that don't add up to your target, macros nobody checked, and a new plan every time you ask because it doesn't remember the last one. FuelTheGains solves calories, protein and fat together against a catalogue of real recipes, so the day hits the number rather than approximating it. It also remembers what you ate last week so meals don't repeat, totals your grocery list across the week, and moves your calorie target when your weigh-ins say you've stalled. That's the part a chat window can't do.
You tell us your goal, your weight, and how active you are. We do the math and pick meals from 50+ options that hit your targets exactly: calories, protein, carbs, fat. You get a full week of meals with a grocery list. No counting, no guessing.
We have 50+ meals in the database. Every week you get different combinations. The app remembers what you've already had and avoids repeats. Once you've tried everything, it starts fresh.
As many as you actually eat. Signup asks the question and builds your first plan around your answer. After that it lives in your nutrition settings: choose how many meals you want, set each one as a breakfast, a main, a snack or a shaker, and tick the ones you batch cook so a later meal reuses the same recipe and the same portion. You can also decide how the day's calories split across them, or leave it even.
Yes. We calculate a target from your stats, but you can override it in your nutrition settings: one calorie number, plus a floor and a ceiling for protein and fat. Every day is then built against your numbers instead of ours. One thing to know, your weekly weigh-ins still move the calorie target when you're gaining too fast or not at all, so it's a starting point rather than a fixed number. There's a Use Recommended button if you want ours back.
Not yet. It's the next thing on the list. Right now the plan is built from the full catalogue, so if something doesn't work for you, you can swap that meal for another one in one tap and the rest of the day rebalances around it. Proper allergen and exclusion filters (gluten, lactose, pork, vegetarian) are being worked on.
You weigh yourself once a week. If you're gaining too fast, we lower your calories a bit. Not fast enough, we bump them up. It happens automatically. You don't have to recalculate anything.
